Z-Axis Translation Mounts
The LBTEK Z-axis translation mount is a precision optical mount for accurate positioning along the optical axis. It provides repeatable Z-axis travel, suitable for fiber alignment in coaxial systems or compensating focus errors in spatial filtering applications.
The translation ring of the mount features SM1 (1.035"-40) internal threads and is driven by a precision micrometer actuator with 1 µm graduations. The micrometer actuator is marked with an effective travel range scale and can be adjusted using either a knurled knob or a 2 mm hex wrench. The mount includes two SM1R retaining rings for securing Ø1-inch (25.4 mm) optical components with a maximum thickness of 7.2 mm.
Compatible with 30 mm MFT coaxial systems, the mount also has M4 threaded holes for free-space connections. The MFP mount features M4 and M6 threads for additional free-space mounting options.
