Microscope main body bracket
The microscope main frame serves as the foundation for the entire modular self-assembled imaging setup, primarily consisting of a vertical support rail. The rail is available in four height options: 350 mm, 400 mm, 500 mm, and 600 mm. Each side of the rail features a 95 mm wide dovetail mounting surface, allowing for the installation of microscope modules from our self-assembled microscopy system. These microscope main frames are based on LBTEK's 95 mm optical construction rails, providing long-term stable support and excellent vibration damping. Additionally, they are precision-machined to ensure perpendicular alignment with the microscope stage.
The microscope main frame is available with or without an epi-illumination arm. Each epi-illumination arm has a D1N female dovetail slot on top for mounting our wide-field observation and epi-illumination components. The optical path is positioned 196.5 mm from the edge of the rail, offering a very large working space below. For applications requiring more space on the top surface of the rail, we offer a 500 mm main frame without an epi-illumination arm. Each main frame includes a pre-installed mounting base with countersunk holes for mounting the main frame.
