Scanning Lens
The LBTEK scanning lens is a core optical component in laser scanning systems, typically used in conjunction with galvanometer scanners. Its technical principle is based on two key functions: flat-field focusing and linear scanning. By incorporating a specific negative distortion through a multi-lens combination design, the scanning lens corrects the focal plane to be flat while maintaining a linear relationship between the spot position (y) on the focal plane and the beam deflection angle (θ), i.e., y = f × θ (where f is the focal length of the lens). Additionally, the scanning lens adopts an image-space telecentric optical path design, ensuring that the chief rays in the image space are parallel to the optical axis. This guarantees consistent chief ray incidence angles and uniform illumination across the entire field of view. Combined with full-field aberration correction, it enhances the uniformity of spot size and imaging resolution consistency across the field, meeting the high-precision scanning requirements of advanced imaging applications such as OCT and confocal microscopy. LBTEK offers scanning lenses with various scanning angles and scanning fields, covering a wavelength range of 400–1800 nm and a focal length range of 18–110 mm. Customers can select the appropriate model based on their specific needs. For more details, please consult LBTEK technical support.
