White Light Interferometer
White light interferometers for accurate measurement of the Group Delay Dispersion (GDD) of multi-layered ultrafast optics. Developed at the Max-Planck-Institute of Quantum Optics (Garching, Germany), these instruments use spectrally resolved interferometry over UV–IR ranges (250–2400 nm) and operate without reference lasers, opening the full spectral range to characterize even ultra-broadband or narrowband coatings.
