The LBTEK 50:50 2×2 Polarization-Maintaining Single-Mode Fiber Coupler evenly splits the optical energy transmitted through two fibers into two output fibers at a 50:50 coupling ratio. It is primarily used for optical path monitoring in optical systems, where a small portion of light is extracted and its optical parameters are verified to monitor the beam quality in the main optical path. The coupler features precise splitting ratio, low additional loss, high return loss, excellent polarization-maintaining performance, and operational stability. Each LBTEK coupler undergoes rigorous testing before leaving the factory and comes with a test datasheet for reference.
