LBTEK's Edgepass Filters use Borofloat 33 as the substrate, with a filter coating applied on one side. The arrow indicates the surface with the filter coating (recommended for light incidence), allowing transmission of specific wavelength ranges while rejecting others. LBTEK Edgepass Filters feature >85% transmittance in the passband wavelength range and optical density >OD 2 in the rejection region. Available options include diameters of 25.4 mm and wavelength ranges from 600 nm to 950 nm. In addition to standard edgepass filters, LBTEK offers customized filter services. They effectively suppress light with wavelengths longer than the cut-on (cut-off) wavelength, achieving an optical density of OD 2, meaning the transmittance is <1%.
