LBTEK 1-inch low-deformation stainless steel mount is used for mounting optical components with a diameter of 25.4 mm. It features 2 M6×0.25 precision adjusters with knobs and lock nuts. The retainer ring + wave washer three-point fixation secures the optical component. The purchase of the mount includes 1 stainless steel retainer ring + wave washer. Compatible optical components have a maximum thickness of 8mm. The 2 M6×0.25 precision adjusters with knobs and lock nuts provide the adjustment mount with an angular adjustment range of ±4°. The knobs allow for manual adjustment or adjustment using a hex key to control the pitch and yaw of the optical component. The side of the optical adjustment mount has M4 countersunk mounting holes. The purchase of the LBTEK stainless steel mount includes hex socket ultra-thin head screws and a hex key.
Installation Instructions: After placing the optical component, place the wave washer, ensuring the contact points between the washer and the back of the lens align with the three bosses on the mount. Place the retainer ring and tighten it until it makes slight contact with the back of the optical component. Then, loosen the retainer ring by 90° (1/4 turn). This ensures that the wave washer provides the elastic force to secure the optical component, ultimately guaranteeing that the surface figure of the optical component in the mount is below 0.1λ.
Note: These adjustment mounts are used for installing 25.4 mm optical components with a tolerance of +0/-0.13 mm. For low surface figure applications, one of the rubber-tipped set screws on the three-point bosses must be completely loosened and must not contact the optical component. For applications without low surface figure requirements, the optical component can be tightened using a torque wrench with a torque of 2 cN·m to provide greater long-term stability. (Refer to the technical illustration.)
