The pyroelectric sensor converts the energy of light pulses into voltage pulses and is not suitable for continuous laser measurement. Due to its black coating, which exhibits a flat absorption curve within the 190 nm–25 μm wavelength range, it is particularly well-suited for low-power, wavelength-independent energy measurements. Among them, the LBPEM20\/45-HP offers higher average power density. Additionally, the energy meter can be directly connected to an oscilloscope with a 1 MΩ input resistance or an LBPEM710 meter via a BNC connector. To accommodate higher repetition rates when connected to an oscilloscope, the load resistance can be reduced. The LBTEK general-purpose pyroelectric laser energy meter provides optional effective detection areas of 4 mm, 8 mm, 11 mm, 20 mm, 21 mm, 34 mm, and 45 mm. The energy meter includes a 1.5 m-long connecting cable with BNC and E connectors on either end.
