True Zero-Order Six-Segmented Waveplate — Model HWP25-488A-6P
Single-wavelength λ/2 waveplate with six 60° angular segments, mounted in SM1 housing.
Overview
LBTek's True Zero-Order Six-Segmented Waveplate is constructed with a Liquid Crystal Polymer layer sandwiched between two N-BK7 windows. The clear aperture is divided into six 60° angular segments. Within each segment the LCP fast-axis is uniformly aligned, with orientations alternating counter-clockwise through 0°, -60°, 60°, 0°, -60°, 60°. Across the entire device the retardance is a uniform λ/2 at the design wavelength, making it a single-wavelength device. Each waveplate is mounted in a standard SM1 lens tube marked with the 60° fast-axis region, the model number and full specifications. Available in standard design wavelengths of 488 nm, 532 nm, and 633 nm; custom specifications are supported on request.
Key Features
- Sandwich structure: Liquid Crystal Polymer between two N-BK7 windows, with integrated mechanical housing
