Overview

Hard-coated reflective longpass filters deliver sharp cut-on performance with optical density >5 in the blocking band and high transmission across the passband. Built on a UV fused silica substrate with a durable hard dielectric coating — essentially a modified quarter-wave stack that isolates the band by interference — they offer excellent environmental stability and long service life from a single substrate, and withstand the normal cleaning and handling of any high-quality optical component.

Storage & Handling

For optimal performance, store and use at 25 °C and 40–60% relative humidity. If the surface becomes contaminated, clean gently with ≥99% alcohol and lint-free lens tissue; never use coarse cloth, water, or abrasive cleaners, which may damage the optic.
