The 1030 nm-band ASE broadband light source is based on ytterbium-doped fiber and a semiconductor pump laser. The spectrum covers the 1030nm wavelength, has a high output power and a polarization extinction ratio as low as 0.2 dB. It can be used for fiber device testing, FBG grating production, etc.
