The LBTEK 1:99 single-mode fiber coupler can distribute the optical energy transmitted through two fibers to the output fibers at a coupling ratio of 1:99. It is primarily used for optical path monitoring in optical systems, where a small portion of light is extracted and its optical parameters are verified to monitor the quality of the main optical path. The coupler features precise splitting ratio, low additional loss, high return loss, and operational stability. Each LBTEK coupler undergoes rigorous testing before leaving the factory and comes with a test datasheet for reference.
