Overview
The 2000-5000nm Chirped Mirror 100fs² is a dielectric chirped mirror engineered for dispersion management in mid-infrared (MWIR) ultrafast laser systems. Reflectance band 3200–4500 nm centered near 3850 nm. Group delay dispersion of +100 fs² per bounce serves as a stretcher / pre-compensation element for Cr:ZnSe / Cr:ZnS, OPO / OPA, Tm:fiber / Ho:fiber, and Ho:YAG / Er:YAG architectures that demand sub-100 fs control at telecom-extended and mid-IR wavelengths.

Storage & Handling
Store in low-humidity dry cabinet with optical-grade lens tissue protection. Handle by the edges only — coating surface contact will degrade reflectance and damage threshold. Clean with high-purity acetone or methanol using the drop-and-drag technique; never wipe across the coated face. Avoid extreme temperature gradients that can cause stress birefringence in the substrate.
