Airy Beam Converters LCAB25-DM-633

Overview

The Airy beam converter is a two-dimensional first-order device built from a liquid crystal polymer (LCP) functional layer sandwiched between N-BK7 window substrates, with a single-sided 1.5 mm chamfer and no housing. The LCP molecules follow a cubic phase distribution that imposes a uniform λ/2 retardation across the aperture, making it a single-wavelength, polarization-dependent component that converts a Gaussian beam into an Airy beam with transverse self-accelerating, self-healing and non-diffracting behaviour. Model LCAB25-DM-633 operates at 633 nm over a 10×10 mm clear aperture and accepts an angle of incidence of ±15 °.
