A double-concave lens has concave surfaces on both sides with identical radii of curvature. It has a negative focal length and is commonly used for beam collimation, increasing (or decreasing) focal length, or expanding (or reducing) image size. CaF₂ is the most common material for infrared lenses, and LBTEK chooses to use CaF₂ to manufacture various lenses, primarily for infrared applications. In addition to CaF₂ double-concave lenses, LBTEK also offers double-concave lenses made of N-BK7 and N-SF11. LBTEK provides uncoated double-concave lenses with a theoretical operating wavelength range of 200 nm to 8.0 μm. LBTEK double-concave lenses have a negative focal length and are commonly used in applications such as imaging or beam collimation. LBTEK chooses to use CaF2 to manufacture various lenses. CaF2 exhibits high transmittance in both ultraviolet and infrared spectral ranges, along with an extremely high damage threshold, making it widely applicable in the excimer laser industry. All circular lenses from LBTEK come pre-installed with standard lens sleeves or lens mounting adapters. These mechanical components are engraved with product model, type, diameter, and focal length for easy identification of lens parameters by users.
