HELIOS — Femtosecond Transient Absorption Spectrometer
Design Tools
Complete Your Setup
HELIOS is an automated femtosecond transient absorption (pump–probe) spectrometer designed to work with a wide range of amplified femtosecond lasers, including high-energy Ti:Sapphire amplifiers and high repetition-rate Yb amplifiers. Combined with a patented optical delay line and FastScan acquisition, it delivers broad UV–SWIR probe coverage with sub-3 fs delay resolution and a high level of automation and user-friendliness.
Key Features
- Broad probe spectral range spanning UV, VIS, NIR and SWIR (280–2400 nm)
- Automated switching between UV, VIS, NIR and SWIR detection
- Automated pump-beam alignment and automated optical-delay-line alignment
- FastScan continuous acquisition — every pulse registered; ~3× faster data collection even at 1 kHz
- Patented optical delay line: 8 ns window, 2.8 fs resolution, >10 ns/s scan speed
- Rapid full-surface previews ideal for photodegradable samples
