The DOE25Q-1080-RI1-14 High-Power Annular Shaping DOE is a beam shaping device that adopts an axicon-like phase design, with specific phase patterns etched on a fused silica substrate surface, converting a Gaussian beam into an annular beam energy distribution based on diffractive optics principles. Compared with liquid crystal polymers, UV Fused Silica (UVFS) features low absorption and a high damage threshold. Thanks to the freely designable inner and outer diameters of the ring and the high uniformity of energy distribution on the ring, this element operates at 1080 nm with a 8.8 μm inner / 130 μm outer ring-shaped light spot at the standard 650mm focal length.

Construction & Performance

Storage & Handling

Keep the incident beam inside the Ø22 mm clear aperture and within the Ø14 mm incident spot diameter; respect the ±5° incident light tilt and ±0.7 mm(±5% of the input beam diameter) incident light eccentricity limits, and use a beam of M2<1.3 quality or better. Store the element in its original packaging away from dust and moisture, and clean only the coated optical surfaces.
