Laser Mode Converters LMC25-532-01

Overview

The laser mode converter is built from a liquid crystal polymer (LCP) film on an N-BK7 window substrate. Photo-alignment sets the fast-axis distribution of the LCP layer and the film thickness fixes the o/e phase retardation at λ/2, making it a single-wavelength device that converts a fundamental TEM00 beam into a higher-order Hermite-Gaussian mode (TEM00→TEM01/TEM10). Model LMC25-532-01 operates at 532 nm over a clear aperture of Ø21.5 mm and accepts an angle of incidence of ±15 °.
