Overview
LBTek's Super Achromatic Half-Wave Plate delivers a true λ/2 retardance across an ultra-broad wavelength range of 325-1200 nm by bonding a 6-layer quartz and CaF2 stack at precisely designed crystal-axis angles. The super achromatic construction preserves half-wave retardance over the full specified bandwidth rather than only at a single design wavelength. Each plate is anti-reflection coated on both surfaces (Ravg < 2%) and pre-mounted in a standard SM05 lens tube marked with the fast-axis orientation, the model number and full specifications.
