Overview
LBTek's Super Achromatic Quarter-Wave Plate delivers a true λ/4 retardance across an ultra-broad wavelength range of 600-2200 nm by bonding a 6-layer quartz and MgF2 stack at precisely designed crystal-axis angles. Compared with compound zero-order or multi-order designs, the super achromatic construction preserves quarter-wave retardance over the full specified bandwidth rather than only at a single design wavelength. Each plate is anti-reflection coated on both surfaces (Ravg < 2%) and pre-mounted in a standard SM1 lens tube marked with the fast-axis orientation, the model number and full specifications.
