LBTEK metal-coated mirrors are highly suitable for deflecting light paths of broadband light sources, offering high reflectivity across a wide spectral range. The mid-infrared enhanced gold-coated mirrors provide superior reflectivity compared to standard gold-coated mirrors in the 2.0 μm-20.0 μm range, delivering an average reflectivity of 98%. Metal coatings are prone to oxidation, discoloration, or peeling in high-humidity environments. LBTEK's metal-coated mirrors feature a protective silicon dioxide layer on the surface to isolate the metal coating from direct contact with air, preventing oxidation and preserving optical performance. LBTEK offers five types of metal-coated mirrors: gold-coated, mid-infrared enhanced gold-coated, silver-coated, aluminum-coated, and UV-enhanced aluminum-coated.
