LBTEK's penta prisms are made of N-BK7 glass. Two reflective surfaces are aluminum-coated for enhanced reflectivity. Both reflective surfaces, as well as the plane intersecting them, are coated with a chromium-doped Inconel alloy with a black paint finish. Penta prisms deflect the incident light beam or image by 90° while preserving the original image and preventing inverted or reversed images. LBTEK offers two sizes of penta prisms, both with a clear aperture of 70% of the incident surface size. In addition to standard penta prisms, LBTEK also offers a variety of custom options.
