Product Description
- Substrate:CaF2
- Working Wavelength: 1.65 μm -3 μm(AR-coated)
- Application: imaging, beam expansion or reduction, convergence
Plano-convex lenses, with one convex surface and the other flat, have a positive focal length and are commonly used in applications such as beam reduction, focal length reduction, or image magnification. To reduce spherical aberration, when focusing a collimated beam, the beam should be incident on a curved lens surface; when collimating a point source, the beam should be incident on a flat surface. LBTEK's calcium fluoride plano-convex lenses are coated on both surfaces with a 1.65 μm to 3 μm anti-reflection coating to reduce reflectivity. LBTEK uses calcium fluoride in a variety of lens applications. Calcium fluoride offers high transmittance in the ultraviolet and infrared spectral ranges and an extremely high damage threshold, making it widely used in the excimer laser industry. Calcium fluoride has a low refractive index, ranging from 1.35 to 1.51 within the operating range of 180 nm to 8.0 μm. Calcium fluoride is also chemically inert compared to similar materials such as barium fluoride and magnesium fluoride. It also possesses high hardness, making it an ideal choice for lenses used in the ultraviolet and infrared regions. Our lenses are all finely processed and strictly controlled in quality, ensuring that LBTEK can provide users with high-quality lens products at reasonable prices.
