Plano-convex lenses, with one convex side and one flat side, have a positive focal length and are commonly used in applications such as beam reduction, focal length beam reduction, or image magnification. To reduce spherical aberration, plano-convex lenses are used to focus collimated beams so that the beam is incident on a curved surface. When used to collimate point light sources, the beam is incident on a flat surface. LBTEK offers lenses using N-BK7, a common substrate used in visible and near-infrared applications. Our lenses are meticulously machined and rigorously quality-controlled, ensuring that LBTEK provides high-quality lenses at reasonable prices.

LBTEK plano-convex lenses are manufactured using N-BK7 glass that complies with RoHS standards. N-BK7 is the most commonly used material for high-quality optical components, primarily applied in visible and near-infrared fields. All circular lenses from LBTEK are mounted with standard lens tubes or lens mounting adapters. These mechanical components are engraved with product model, type, diameter, and focal length for easy identification by users.
