Polymer Circular Polarizer — Model LCP25-670-M
Polymer Waveplate/Thin Film Linear Polarizer, operating wavelength 670 nm, clear aperture Ø20 mm, ellipticity angle ≥43.5°.
Overview
The polymer circular polarizer can convert light of any polarization state within the working wavelength into left-handed or right-handed circularly polarized light, and can also convert left-handed or right-handed circularly polarized light into linearly polarized light. Compared with economical thin-film circular polarizers, the polymer circular polarizer achieves higher ellipticity requirements (≥43.5°). The polymer circular polarizer is mounted in a metal mechanical retaining ring, with two scale lines engraved on the front side of the ring. The scale lines indicate the transmission direction of the internal linear polarizing film. When the beam enters from the side with the engraved lines, the outgoing light is circularly polarized; when entering from the opposite direction, the outgoing light is linearly polarized.
