Polymer Homogenization DOEs DOE25-1064-7-FTS30
DOE25-1064-7-FTS30Design Tools
The LBTek Polymer Homogenizing DOE is a flat optical component built on diffractive optics principles. It combines a liquid crystal polymer film with N-BK7 or UVFS window substrates. The design uses point-to-point mapping calculations based on incident light characteristics, focal length, and desired output specifications to introduce a geometric phase distribution that transforms Gaussian incident light into shaped, homogenized beams.
Compared to traditional refractive homogenizers, the polymer DOE offers flat structure for easier integration and higher energy efficiency. Standard products generate square flat-top, circular flat-top, or line-shaped flat-top beams with high diffraction efficiency (>90%), high uniformity (<10% RMS), and sharp edges.
