LBTEK single-photon detectors operate at wavelengths of 400-1100 nm, with an anti-reflection coating applied in the 650-1100 nm range. They are available in two types: free-space input and fiber input, catering to different application scenarios. Three dark count specifications are available (<25 cps, <100 cps, <500 cps), making them suitable for weak light and single-photon detection applications. High light intensity may damage the APD, potentially reducing its detection sensitivity, and in severe cases, even causing diode breakdown. The module should operate within a temperature range of -20 to 50°C. Excessive temperature can intensify thermally excited carriers, leading to an increase in dark counts.
