Overview

LBTEK assembles a quartz air-spaced half-wave plate mounted in the RM05 rotation mount with a laser line polarizing beamsplitter cube installed in a 30 mm coaxial cube mount to form a laser line tunable polarizing beamsplitter. The top scribed line indicates the optical path direction, with the fast axis of the waveplate aligned to the 0° scribed line on the rotation mount. The initial position is preset and locked, ensuring the waveplate does not alter the polarization direction of the incident light. The included wrench can be used to loosen and rotate the half-wave plate for continuous adjustment of the transmission intensity of the linearly polarized light.
