Overview
LBTEK assembles a quartz air-spaced half-wave plate installed in the RM05 rotation mount with a high-power laser line polarizing beamsplitter cube mounted in a 30 mm coaxial beamsplitter cube mount to create a high-power laser line tunable polarizing beamsplitter. The top scribed line indicates the optical path direction, with the fast axis of the waveplate aligned to the 0° scribed line on the rotation mount. The initial position is preset and locked, ensuring the waveplate does not alter the polarization direction of the incident light. The included wrench can be used to loosen and rotate the half-wave plate for continuous adjustment of the transmission intensity of the linearly polarized light.
