Wedge Prism Mounting Washer — Model SM1-741-P5

The wedge prism mounting washers can be used together with our CWPXX wedge prisms and retaining rings to securely mount the wedge prisms into SM1 lens tubes and rotation mounts without affecting the overall clear aperture. Each mounting washer features two slots for compatibility with our OWR-1A retaining ring wrench. Additionally, these washers can be used in pairs to mount Ø25.4 mm flat optical elements at a predetermined angle within SM1 lens tubes, thereby reducing back reflections. The maximum thickness of flat elements that can be installed varies by model according to the wedge angle: SM1-189 - not recommended for flat element installation, SM1-353 - maximum flat element thickness of 6 mm, SM1-741 - maximum flat element thickness of 1 mm, SM1-1122 - maximum flat element thickness of 1 mm.

Application
A mounting washer is used to install a wedge prism, and two mounting washers are used to install a flat plate at a certain angle to reduce back reflection. Use an SM1-50D lens tube to ensure the proper mounting angle.
