Overview
This true zero-order air-gap waveplate is built from two crystalline-quartz plates separated by a precision air gap, delivering the low temperature sensitivity, wide acceptance angle, and high damage threshold characteristic of air-spaced zero-order designs. A quarter-wave (λ/4) plate converts between linear and circular polarization.
