Adjustable Fiberl Attenuator LBDD-9-125-60

The LBTEK electrically adjustable fiber optic attenuator adopts a blocking-type (single-mode/polarization-maintaining single-mode fiber) or variable neutral density filter-type (multimode fiber) attenuation mechanism. It utilizes an embedded microcontroller-driven circuit to control the internal stepper motor for adjusting the attenuation level. The motor is a two-phase stepper motor with a resolution of 7.5°/step. The motor is connected to a backlash-reducing gear, which reduces the motor's movement to 0.01546°/step, resulting in an attenuator resolution of 0.01 dB. The attenuator features a built-in RS-232 interface for computer-controlled operation, allowing users to access and control it via a 16-pin Hirose connector and communication cable. The LBTEK electrically adjustable fiber optic attenuator comes with a communication cable and RJ-11/DB-9 adapters, including optical fibers. It is recommended to use the electrically adjustable attenuator at calibrated wavelengths, with an operational wavelength range of 400–1625 nm.
