The LBTEK five-axis single-mode fiber positioner enables pitch/yaw and XYZ-axis adjustments, making it suitable for single-mode fiber applications. The fiber end features independent pitch/deflection control, managed by three adjustment screws that provide a precision of 0.75° per turn. Each adjuster is equipped with planetary gears, and rotating the central knob drives all three adjusters simultaneously to achieve independent Z-axis movement. When one screw is secured in place using a 2 mm hex wrench, pitch/yaw motion can be performed. Two mutually perpendicular adjustment screws on the side enable X-Y alignment, while an inclined position includes a pair of fine X-Y adjustment screws. Rotating the coarse adjustment screw via an internal cam achieves a sensitivity of 0.78 μm per turn. Multiple mounting holes are provided for accessory installation, ensuring maximum flexibility. The base includes four M4 mounting holes, allowing rods to be attached to the single-mode fiber positioner for left- or right-handed setups.
