The LBTek flat-plate cylindrical lens array is a planar optical element that achieves one-dimensional beam shaping and homogenization based on the diffractive optical principle of liquid crystal polymers. The device consists of a polymer film sandwiched between two N-BK7 window plates, where the arrayed phase distribution realizes cylindrical lens functionality.
By adjusting incident beam polarization (left or right-handed circular), users can obtain either converging or diverging circularly polarized output beams. The single-wavelength design is free from spherical aberration, with anti-reflection coating on the incident surface ensuring high transmittance and diffraction efficiency.
