The LBTEK Multi-Focal Lens is a diffractive optical element sensitive to the polarization state of incident light. It generates multiple focal points with equal energy distribution along the propagation direction when illuminated with circularly polarized light.

LBTEK can precisely design the phase distribution based on the divergence angles, sizes, and energy distribution of the incident beam, achieving submicron-level liquid crystal polymer microstructure alignment with zero-order diffraction efficiency suppressed below 4%.

Key Features

  • Liquid Crystal Polymer/N-BK7 window material, single-layer substrate structure
  • Capable of generating multiple focal points with equal light intensity
  • Incident spot size consistent with the clear aperture
  • Working wavelength: 532 nm, 633 nm; number of focal points: 5; focal spacing: 50 mm
  • Flexible customization available

Multi-Focal Lens Series

Standard products with clear aperture Ø20 mm, diffraction efficiency >96%, surface finish 60/40. Light enters from the AR-coated side. Incident beam size should match the clear aperture for uniform energy distribution among focal points.
