Quartz True Zero-Order Half-Wave Plate — Model HWP20-980BT
λ/2 quartz waveplate at 980 nm, mounted in standard SM housing.
Overview
LBTek's Quartz True Zero-Order Half-Wave Plates deliver a λ/2 retardance at the design wavelength. The true zero-order single-plate quartz construction provides superior thermal and spectral stability with minimal beam deviation. Each plate is anti-reflection coated on both surfaces (R < 0.25% @ design wavelength) and mounted in a standard SM05 or SM1 lens tube for seamless integration into polarization control setups.
Key Features
- True Zero-Order design at the specified design wavelength
- Retardance: λ/2
- V-type anti-reflection coating on both surfaces
- Surface finish 10/5 to 20/10
- Operating temperature tolerant, polarization-stable
- Mounted in standard SM05 / SM1 housing for seamless integration
Applications
- Polarization state conversion (linear ↔ circular / elliptical)
- Laser isolator, interferometry, and ellipsometry systems
- Quantum optics and photonic research
- Integration with polarizing beamsplitters and prisms
