Quartz Zero-Order Quarter-Wave Plate — Model QWP20-670B
λ/4 quartz waveplate at 670 nm, mounted in standard SM housing.
Overview
LBTek's Quartz Zero-Order Quarter-Wave Plates deliver a λ/4 retardance at the design wavelength. The air-spaced compound design combines two quartz plates for cost-effective zero-order performance. Each plate is anti-reflection coated on both surfaces (R < 0.25% @ design wavelength) and mounted in a standard SM05 or SM1 lens tube for seamless integration into polarization control setups.
Key Features
- Zero-Order (air-spaced compound) design at the specified design wavelength
- Retardance: λ/4
- V-type anti-reflection coating on both surfaces
- Surface finish 10/5 to 20/10
- Operating temperature tolerant, polarization-stable
- Mounted in standard SM05 / SM1 housing for seamless integration
Applications
- Polarization state conversion (linear ↔ circular / elliptical)
- Laser isolator, interferometry, and ellipsometry systems
- Quantum optics and photonic research
- Integration with polarizing beamsplitters and prisms
