The LBTEK M30 retaining ring is made of 6061-T6 aluminum alloy with a black anodized surface finish. The surface slots are compatible with the OWR-U adjustable wrench for securing Ø30 mm optical components. Typically, two retaining rings are used in lens barrels or coaxial plates to secure an optical element: one to fix the position and the other to clamp the optical component tightly.
