The LBTEK supermirror is fabricated by depositing multiple layers of dielectric reflective coatings with alternating high and low refractive indices on a UV-grade fused silica substrate. By increasing the number of coating layers, the reflectivity can be enhanced, enabling the supermirror to achieve a reflectivity exceeding 99.99% at the designed wavelength. It is ideally suited for optical systems requiring extremely high reflectivity. LBTEK offers supermirrors at five standard wavelengths: 532 nm, 632.8 nm, 780 nm, 1064 nm, and 1550 nm.
