The LBTEK ultra-high-definition DMD spatial light modulator is built around TI's cost-effective DLPC900 controller, delivering exceptional amplitude-modulation performance for cutting-edge computational- and information-optics applications. Each aluminum micromirror tilts +/-12 degrees under binary CMOS control to reflectively modulate the optical field with high precision.
Its defining feature is ultra-high-definition physical resolution (1920x1080 or 2048x1200) paired with 0.5 inch or 0.65 inch DMD diagonals and 5.4 um or 7.56 um micromirror pitch for highly refined light-field modulation. The module supports precise internal/external synchronous triggering and retains image data during power-off, offering outstanding cost-effectiveness.

The ultra-high-definition series includes the S6000, Type-A and YX models at 1920x1080 and 2048x1200 resolution. The DMD-YX0.5-2048x1200 mounts its micromirrors horizontally at 0 degrees; all other models use the standard 45 degrees installation.
