The RMS-05A Rotating Mount is specifically designed for Ø1/2 inch optical elements, enabling 360° continuous manual coarse adjustment and backlash-free fine adjustment. Its SM05 (0.535"-40) internal threaded hole is compatible with Ø1/2 inch optical elements with a maximum thickness of 5.9 mm. The optical element is secured by the rear internal lip together with the standard SM05 retaining ring.
The outer edge of the rotating disk is equipped with a laser-etched scale with a minimum division of 2°, allowing for coarse adjustment via the knurled ring at the rear of the mount. The vernier reading multiplied by 2 converts to arcminutes. A built-in M3*3 set screw is used to lock the dial, working in conjunction with the adjustment screw for fine-tuning.
