Metal-coated mirrors are highly suitable for deflecting light paths of broadband light sources, offering high reflectivity across a wide spectral range. LBTEK provides both protected and unprotected gold-coated flat mirrors, available in circular and rectangular shapes. The protected gold-coated mirrors feature a layer of silicon dioxide protective coating on the surface to isolate the metal film from direct external contact, preventing scratches that could affect optical performance. Unprotected gold-coated mirrors exhibit higher reflectivity than their protected counterparts but are more fragile and prone to surface scratches. All LBTEK mirrors undergo precision processing and strict quality control to ensure high-quality products at reasonable prices.
