LBTEK offers Nikon 10X and 20X plan semi-apochromat phase contrast objectives with excellent transmittance from the ultraviolet to the visible wavelength range. To achieve optimal phase contrast, these objectives require a corresponding annular diaphragm. The choice of annular diaphragm depends on the microscope model. LBTEK's phase contrast objectives are positive phase contrast objectives. Light passing through the object destructively interferes at the image plane, creating a dark image against a bright background for high contrast.
