For measuring pulsed lasers with repetition rates up to 2.5 kHz
Overview
The LBTEK fast-response pyroelectric laser energy meter is designed for measuring pulsed lasers with repetition rates up to 2.5 kHz. The pyroelectric sensor converts the energy of optical pulses into voltage pulses and is not suitable for continuous laser measurement. The LBPEMxx-HiRep features a black coating, providing a flat response from 190 nm to 25 μm and supporting measurements at repetition rates up to 750 Hz. The LBPEMxx-HIRep-UV has a metallic coating, offering a flat response from 190 nm to 2.5 μm and supporting detection at repetition rates up to 2.5 kHz, depending on the effective detection size. The energy meter can be directly connected to an oscilloscope with a 1 MΩ input resistance or an LBPEM710 meter via BNC connectors. The LBTEK fast-response pyroelectric laser energy meter is available with effective detection areas of 12 mm or 24 mm. The energy meter includes a 1.5 m long connecting cable with BNC and E connectors at each end. Note: The energy meter includes a mounting rod but is sold without a base.
