Standard Pyroelectric Laser Energy Meter — Model PEM45-HP

For pulsed laser measurement

Overview

The LBTEK standard pyroelectric laser energy meter is used for measuring pulsed lasers. The pyroelectric sensor converts the energy of light pulses into voltage pulses and is not suitable for continuous laser measurement. Due to its black coating, which exhibits a flat absorption curve within the 190 nm–25 μm wavelength range, it is particularly well-suited for low-power, wavelength-independent energy measurements. Among them, the LBPEM20/45-HP offers higher average power density. Additionally, the energy meter can be directly connected to an oscilloscope with a 1 MΩ input resistance or an LBPEM710 meter via a BNC connector. To accommodate higher repetition rates when connected to an oscilloscope, the load resistance can be reduced. The LBTEK general-purpose pyroelectric laser energy meter provides optional effective detection areas of 4 mm, 8 mm, 11 mm, 20 mm, 21 mm, 34 mm, and 45 mm. The energy meter includes a 1.5 m-long connecting cable with BNC and E connectors on either end. Note: The energy meter includes a mounting rod but does not come with a base.
