The PI-MTE3 is a 3-stage thermoelectrically cooled CCD camera for X-ray imaging. Cooling to -85°C without cryogens, combined with large-format sensors up to 2048×2048, makes it ideal for X-ray diffraction, scattering, and crystallography. Direct detection provides excellent energy resolution while the deep cooling minimizes thermal noise for long exposures.

Key Features

  • 3-stage TE cooling to -85°C
  • No cryogens required
  • Large-format sensors up to 2048×2048
  • Direct X-ray detection
  • Low read noise for X-ray energy resolution
  • USB interface
  • Compact design for beamline integration

Applications

  • X-ray diffraction
  • Small-angle X-ray scattering (SAXS)
  • X-ray crystallography
  • X-ray imaging
