The PI-MTE3 is a 3-stage thermoelectrically cooled CCD camera for X-ray imaging. Cooling to -85°C without cryogens, combined with large-format sensors up to 2048×2048, makes it ideal for X-ray diffraction, scattering, and crystallography. Direct detection provides excellent energy resolution while the deep cooling minimizes thermal noise for long exposures.
