The LBTEK SM05 zoom tube features an SM05 internal thread at the center for mounting optical components with a diameter of 12.7 mm and a maximum thickness of 6.9 mm. One end of the tube has external SM1 threads and internal RMS threads, while the other end is equipped with internal SM1 and SM05 threads, allowing for expansion with lens tubes or other opto-mechanical components. This post provides 18 mm of linear travel, adjustable via a red knob with a translation efficiency of 4.8 mm per revolution and a resolution of 0.2 mm. It includes a locking mechanism, with the locking screw positioned near the 0-mark side. The tube also comes with an SM05R retaining ring for securing optical components.
