K2 is a XUV/IR pulse delay unit that uses UFI's XUV/soft-X-ray multilayer double mirrors. The coating can be customized for the desired XUV/soft-X-ray energy range and reflective properties.

The unit provides high-precision femtosecond-resolved delay between an XUV (or soft X-ray) pulse and a co-propagating IR pulse — essential for pump-probe experiments in attosecond science, photoemission spectroscopy, and time-resolved XUV-IR cross-correlation.

Key Product Features

  • Customizable XUV/soft-X-ray multilayer double-mirror coating
  • Independent delay control for XUV and IR arms
  • Femtosecond-resolution delay scanning
  • Vacuum-compatible
  • Compact form factor for integration into existing beamlines
  • Custom coating designs available for specific XUV/SXR energy ranges

Applications

  • Attosecond XUV-IR pump-probe spectroscopy
  • RABITT experiments
  • Time-resolved photoemission
  • High-harmonic-generation studies
