LBTek Polarization Gratings (PG) are fabricated based on liquid crystal polymer birefringent materials and N-BK7 glass substrates, presenting a sandwich structure of front and rear glass substrates plus intermediate LCP functional film layer.
The fast-axis orientation of liquid crystal molecules exhibits a periodic continuous gradient along the x-direction, maintaining half-wave retardation across the entire device plane.
