The LBTEK differential screw assembly features both coarse and fine adjustments. The coarse adjustment has a travel of 8 mm with an accuracy of 0.25 mm/revolution, while the fine adjustment offers a travel of 0.4 mm with a precision of 0.025 mm/revolution. The coarse adjustment utilizes an M6Ć0.25 screw, whereas the fine adjustment achieves its 0.025 mm/revolution accuracy through a differential screw design. Coarse adjustment is performed using a 2 mm hex wrench, and fine adjustment is done with a 1.5 mm wrench. Note that due to the differential adjustment mechanism, there is a slight backlash in the differential adjustment. It is recommended to use this screw assembly with a preload of 1 kg or more to eliminate the backlash. The screw assembly includes a knurled screw for locking the assembly in place.
